We welcome Matt Graydon, a new senior director to the team.
Matt joins our growing team of communication and PR professionals to support our future growth, generate new business, and further develop our specialism in engineering. A former journalist, experienced communications leader, and C-suite advisor, he has a wealth of experience from 25 years of professional services, FTSE 250, membership and public sector organisations. Matt is a humanist and amateur astronomer and believes passionately in the role of science in protecting our planet and improving people’s lives.
He has spent the last ten years working at a senior level in-house or as a consultant to highly complex engineering and infrastructure companies, where science and technology are transforming the way major projects are delivered more efficiently and cost-effectively. Matt produced Group level thought leadership around pressing industry issues for company CEOs and chairpersons, putting sustainability at the centre of communications, winning prestigious awards in the process.
Matt was Director of Communications at World Gold Council, leading a team of communicators and agencies worldwide to transform perceptions of gold to key stakeholders. He was instrumental in driving the gold industry’s response to concerns around ethical mining.
In previous roles, Matt was Head of PR for law firm McGrigors, Senior PR Manager at PwC, leading communications around its industry sector programme globally; Corporate Communications Manager for conglomerate Sea Containers; Press Officer for a local authority.
